Four layers of one strategy

In 2025 our labs were organized around individual technologies. They produced valuable work, but the most interesting customer challenges lived between them. Customers rarely ask for edge computing. They ask how to prepare for what's coming, how to build systems that don't break, how to get AI working in their operations. So we reorganized around problem spaces instead of tech trends: four labs, each owning a distinct part of that path, with business-IT alignment woven through all of them.

While the market debates the viability and timing of quantum, robotics, and new computing architectures, we are already experimenting with them in realistic settings. Strategic design

Where tomorrow's business and IT align.

Too often, corporate strategy and IT speak different languages and move on different timelines. This lab closes that gap. We combine future design (imagining multiple possible futures) with enterprise architecture (ensuring they are buildable), and act as translators between business ambition and technical reality. Together with customers we shape Shared Future Visions: where their company could be in, say, 2031, and what that means for people, operations, and technology. From that future state we backcast the capabilities, architectures, and decisions needed along the way. We translate abstract goals like increased agility or become data-driven into concrete roadmaps and designs.

Adaptive architecture

First make it work. Then make it work forever.

Innovation dies in the gap between idea and implementation. This lab bridges that gap. We are obsessed with two questions: how do you get something working fast, and how do you make it work sustainably at scale? We design and build architectures of the future: resilient, secure, cost-aware, and ready for IT/OT convergence. Architectures that adapt to new requirements, to shifting regulations, to a world where sovereignty matters. That includes "SaaS is dead" scenarios, sovereign cloud requirements, and environments where cloud-only or vendor lock-in is not an option. Instead of throwing prototypes over the wall, we build viable systems and realistic test setups: demos, pilots, and edge environments that reflect real-world constraints. We also optimize and refactor, stripping out waste in compute, energy, and complexity without compromising capability or security.

Artificial intelligence

From coding to orchestrating.

The role of code is changing. We are moving from writing every line to orchestrating AI that writes for us. Vibe coding, spec-driven development, agents that act instead of just giving advice: the craft of building software is transforming faster than any shift since the internet. AI agents already handle tasks that take skilled engineers months. Not by replacing developers, but by changing what developers do: from writing code to directing systems, from debugging to verifying, from implementation to architecture. We explore what this means in practice. How do you prototype when AI can generate a working app from a sketch? How do you build reliable systems from agents that coordinate autonomously? Where are the trust boundaries?
